Dubai has an advanced public transport system including a new state-of-the-art metro system, buses and taxis on our multi-lane highways. The newly opened Dubai Metro will be the longest fully automated rail network in the world when it is fully completed. Bus services operate on 62 routes linking various residential and the industrial areas with the two central business districts. There are five major taxi companies - Dubai Transport, Cars Taxis, National Taxis, Metro Taxis and Arabia Taxis, all equipped with the latest GPS systems.
